Double transfers can cause complications and financial discrepancies. This guide provides you with effective methods to prevent double transfers, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of your transactions.
When creating a transaction, utilize the "reference_id" parameter provided by our system. This unique identifier serves as a reference point to prevent duplicate transfers. Ensure that each transaction has a distinct reference ID to avoid errors.
If our system detects a duplicate reference ID, an error message will be returned, indicating that the reference ID has already been taken. This serves as a safeguard against unintentional double transfers. If you encounter such an error, make sure to generate a new and unique reference ID when retrying the transaction to avoid any potential duplicate transfers.
To verify whether a reference ID is already in use, you can utilize the "Get Transaction by Reference ID" endpoint. Simply provide the reference ID you wish to check, and the system will return the corresponding transaction details, if available.
