After managing teams in your company and assigning Team Managers to each of them, there will be a period where you have to revisit the organization structure and do resource reallocation if needed. Managing the team is not only about adding, editing, or removing a team as we have discussed in this article, but also managing Team Managers who play a crucial role to drive your business growth. Assigning the right people to the right team or removing certain people from Managerial positions has to be done periodically to ensure your business can adapt to every business landscape change. Managing Team Managers can be done easily using Jack Portal.
Assigning a Team Manager
To assign a Team Manager in Jack Portal, follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your Jack Portal, then click your profile icon on the left-bottom corner of the Jack Portal.
- Click Users & Teams.
- Inside the Users & Teams page, navigate to the Teams tab.
- Inside the Teams page, you can click on the team you want to assign a specific Team Manager to.
- Next, click the pencil icon to Edit Manager.
- In the Edit Team Manager modal, you can assign a Team Manager of the team from registered employees or invite them with an email address. Don’t forget to Save Changes to confirm the assignment.
Removing a Team Manager
If you want to remove a Team Manager from the assigned team, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Jack Portal, then click your profile icon on the left-bottom corner of the Jack Portal.
- Click Users & Teams.
- Inside the Users & Teams page, navigate to the Teams tab.
- Inside the Team page, you can click on the team whose Team Manager you want to remove.
- Next, click on the pencil icon to Edit Manager.
- In the Edit Team Manager modal, you can remove the current Team Manager by clicking the X icon on the left side of the role. Don’t forget to click Save Changes to confirm the removal. After deleting the current Manager, you can assign the new one or leave it unassigned.
