As a Releaser, you have the flexibility to effortlessly schedule a transaction on a specific date/time or in alignment with a payment cycle established by your Business Owner or Admin. Rest assured that the approval process remains unchanged, ensuring a seamless experience as usual!

How to Schedule a Transaction in Jack Portal

As a Releaser, you now have the flexibility to set payment schedules for Payroll, Bill Payments, Reimbursements, and Local Transfers, either on a specific date/time or according to a payment cycle established by your Business Owner or AdminLearn how to create a payment cycle in this articleIt's important to note that the approval process remains unchanged and is determined by your business workflow configuration. As of the writing of this article, scheduling a transaction is only possible in Jack Portal. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to schedule a transaction:

  1. Navigate to the Task page and go to the Release Payment section.

  1. Choose the transaction you wish to schedule and then select the Approve & Pay button.

  1. In the Confirm to Pay page, you will notice a new section called "Payment Schedule". The dropdown menu in this section will display one of the following options:

    1. Choose the "Pay Immediately" option if you wish to initiate the payment for this particular transaction right away.

  1. Choose the “Specific Date & Time” option if you wish to schedule the specific transaction to a specific date and time. Please keep in mind that you can only choose a future date and time.

  1. Select the "Payment Cycle" option if you wish to schedule your transaction based on the usual payment cycle set by your company. You can select from the default Payment Cycle list, which has been determined earlier by the Business Owner or Admin, or click “Add Payment Cycle” if you wish to create the new one. Follow the steps here to create a payment cycle. For example: If your business has set a default Payment Cycle for Payroll on the 1st day of each month at 06:00 AM, for instance, if you choose this option, the dropdown will automatically display "Monday, 1 June 2023 (06:00 WIB)".

  1. Once you've selected the desired schedule option, click the Approve & Pay button (for "Pay Immediately") or Approve & Schedule button (for "Specific Date & Time" or "Payment Cycle") at the bottom of the page.

  1. Enter your Jack PIN to confirm your action.

  1. Congrats, your transaction is now scheduled and will be automatically paid according to your chosen schedule.

  1. You can review scheduled transactions through various options in both Jack Portal and Jack App:

    1. Transactions: Filter by the "Scheduled" state to view all scheduled transactions. All roles can see this.

  1. Alerts & Attention: In the "Scheduled Payment" section. All roles can see this.

  1. Dashboard (Jack Portal only): Review scheduled payments up to 3 days onward in the “Scheduled Payments” section. If you want to see all scheduled transactions, click the See All Schedules button. Besides Employees, all roles can see this.


By scheduling all your transactions in advance, you will ensure on-time payments and avoid various late payment penalties. Moreover, save your valuable time to create recurring transactions just once and get better control over your company’s cash flow. Tell this good news to all employees in your company!
